R4 Nintendo DS chip / Microchip?

i got my nintendo ds 'game' chip thing from this website, with the usb and stuff,
but i didn't get a microchip,
so i went to "harveynorman" and brought one there.
will this work or is it a special one needed?

(btw, i went to my friends house and she has a R4 too, and i used her microchip and it worked fine but when she put my microchip in her game thing it didn't work)

and i need some help putting the games on the chip?
